Meet the Team
John Michael Cox
(producer/director/set design)
Having only a few past directing opportunities, John is very excited to put on the directing hat again for his M.A. thesis group, Equinox Theatre. Working mostly as an actor since he was 11 years old, John is extremely passionate about performing and storytelling in any form. Past stage productions in the Greenville area include Plaza Suite, Roy (BJU); The Tempest, Caliban (Greenville Shakespeare Co.); Hamlet, Laertes (BJU); A Christmas Carol (Greenville Little Theatre); Wild Thing, George (Centre Stage). After earning his B.A. in Theatre Arts in 2015, John returned to BJU for his M.A. in Theatre Arts and is thrilled for the opportunity to share this culminating thesis project with you! He loves working with such a talented cast and crew, and could not have asked for a better thesis production team! John has hopes of pursuing an MFA degree in the future, but only after getting married to his beautiful fiancée, Allison Jones.

Kaitlyn Chisholm
(producer/writer/stage manager/marketing)
Kaitlyn Chisholm is proud to present Happily Ever After, Please in culmination of her M.A. in Theatre Arts from Bob Jones University. After receiving a bachelor's in Performance Studies from Bob Jones in 2013, she went on a traveling drama team for four months and then worked as an elementary history editor for a year and a half. While there she discovered her love for writing. She began a blog called Happily Ever After in a Charlie Brown World during a difficult period, a period which inspired her to write the play you will see as part of Equinox Theatre's production. After performing roles as varied as a witch in Macbeth to Jessie Mae in Horton Foote's Trip to Bountiful, she feels privileged to sit back and serve as the stage manager for both plays. Kaitlyn's biggest accomplishment in life, however, is not receiving her master's degree this spring. Her greatest accomplishment, she feels, is earning her driver's license.

Rebekah Nason
(producer/writer/actor/sound and light design)
Rebekah Nason is excited to present This Could Be… in culmination of her M.A. in Theatre Arts from Bob Jones University. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts in 2015. She has appeared in plays such asBreak the Knot (Joyce), The Romancers (Sylvette), The Man Who Came to Dinner (Nurse Preen), and a short appearance as the Ghost of Christmas Past in A Christmas Carol.Rebekah’s true passion, however, lies in writing. She has had several short plays produced in a 24-hour playwriting competition at Bob Jones University. She hopes to merge her love of playwriting and theatre to work with teens and her community. She is a native of New Hampshire and plans to return there after graduation to pursue starting her own theatre. She firmly believes that theatre and the arts are God-given and useful in many areas of life. She hopes you enjoy Equinox Theatre's production and that the questions asked in her play will foster conversation long after the lights go down.

Bethany Woodfin
(producer/actor/costume design/budget)
Bethany Woodfin is excited to be a part of the Equinox Theatre productions as part of the requirements for her M.A. in Theatre Arts from Bob Jones University. Bethany never “discovered” a love for storytelling, for it was always there. But she did grow in her passion for it through her undergrad years, and this love grew to an explosive level through working with kids in various speech and theatre opportunities. Her experiences over the last two years at Bob Jones University have deepened her love for the theatre and for her Equinox Theatre team, and she is grateful for the close relationships that have come as a result of the grad school process. Having enjoyed several directing experiences in undergrad, Bethany is grateful for the acting opportunities that have been provided during her grad school years in productions such as Hunter, A Young Lady of Property, The Man Who Came to Dinner, and now as the lead role, Mackenzie, in Happy Ever After, Please. After falling in love with all that Carolina has to offer, Bethany plans to find work in the Greenville area after graduation.
